Prices do NOT include 25% VAT. VAT is added before checkout for everyone.
The invoice for late and on-site registration displays the registration price as for early rates, and a separate late registration surcharge (respective 150 EUR and 300 EUR for late and on-site registration).
Make sure to enter your VAT number during registration. Your acconting department MIGHT be able to deduce VAT domestically in your country, if you are VAT exempt (or a VAT payer) in EU. See details here. This is may be routine for your accounting department.
All registration rates include access to all tracks and all open events on the days specified. You can freely switch between events and tracks during the day. All registration rates include coffee breaks, refreshments and lunches on the days specified. We will do our best to meet your dietary restrictions. Unless explicitly marked as "invitation only", all events are accessible by both academic and industrial participants who are registered on the given days.
Besides a regular rate, there are four discounted registrant types, defined below. The registration system makes the change of the registrant type cumbersome. Please study the table with prices above and make up your mind before starting the process, to minimize trouble. If you selected a wrong registrant type it might be easiest to start a new registration (with another email address) or, if this is impossible, contact general chair by email.
A discounted rate is applicable to both members of ACM and to members of IEEE, regardless of member grade, and whether they are affiliated with industry or academia. Your membership has to be valid from the registration time to the conference time, and you should be able to show the membership card on arrival. Industry participants partaking in the conference for up to 3 days, retirees and students will likely find other rates more attractive.
SDL Forum Society members get the same discount as ACM/IEEE members.
This rate has been introduced to facilitate participation of senior members of the modeling community who already retired from their academic and industrial employment. The retiree rate does not include participation in the banquet (this can be added for an extra fee).
You have to be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student (incl. PhD students) in an accredited higher education institution. You must be able to show your student card on arrival. Note that student registration rates do not include participation in the banquet (can be added for a fee).
ACM & SIGSOFT are offering travel fund support for students (undergrads and grads) to participate at the MODELS 2018 Conference in Copenhagen.
If you are a student coming to MODELS 2018, please consider applying for this travel fund! To be reimbursed costs for conference attendance, you must be a SIGSOFT member prior to registering for the conference and you must enter your member number when registering for the conference; additionally, you must register by the early registration deadline or within five working days of the award notification date (whichever is later).
Application deadline: August 19th, 2018
Apply here: https://awards.sigsoft.org/CAPS/
More information here: https://www.sigsoft.org/resources/caps.html
The special industry rate has been introduced in order to stimulate industrial participation in the MODELS’18 industry program. Industrial participants must be able to show that they are affiliated with an industrial organization.
Industrial registration does not include access to the banquet. It covers participation on three consecutive days of the conference that have to be indicated during registration (does not cover Friday). If banquet participation is needed, please purchase an extra banquet ticket. If you need more than three days, please choose another set of rates (the member/non-member rates). Consider that before choosing an industrial rate (hard to revert in regonline).
Industry rates can only be used by industry affiliated delegates (not by academics and researchers from public research institutions or from universities).
Sattelite registrations (and full registrations) give access to the reception on Monday at the Royal Library.
Main conference registrations (and full registrations) give access to the reception, exhibition, and poster session on Wednesday at IT University of Copenhagen.
Industrial registration gives access to the reception on Monday and Wednesday only if the respective day has been selected during registration. Drinks (limited) and light snacks are offerred at the reception.
In order to participate in the banquet you need a regular/member registration for main conference or the full week. Otherwise, you need to purchase the extra ticket during the registration.
It is possible to buy an extra ticket with a child menu. Such ticket is 41.25 EUR including VAT. Don’t use it for adults as the restaurant will refuse to serve.
Space in all functions is limited. Based on the data from previous editions the organizers believe that there will be space for everybody in the venues. However, we don’t guarantee this, so if you register late you may be denied the ticket. Participants registering after October 3 and on-site can be almost sure to miss the banquet. There is no price discount for that.
Students and post-docs (regardless of used registration rate) can join a hiring/matchmaking event on Wednesday. This requires choosing a registration package that includes Wednesday.
There is a limited number of seats for professors in this event. In either case indicate your interest to attend on the registration form (in your profile). If you indicate interest, please attend. Your lunch will be served in a separate room on Wednesday.
Industry participants can only attend this event by entering a suitable sponsorship agreement instead of using the usual registration procedure. Please contact general chair or sponsorship chairs.
We do not distribute printed proceedings. The proceedings will be available online from the publisher’s website during the conference.
We allow (and strongly prefer) name changes on the registrations over cancellations. Name change is only possible in the same registration category. Industry rate can be changed to other days free of charge (contact general chair by email). Until September 30th cancellation fee is 25%. After September 30th cancellations are not refundable.
We accept major credit cards (Visa/Mastercard/American Express) and some related debit cards. No cash registrations and no direct money transfers are accepted. On-site registration uses the same system as remote registration, and you have to be able to use your credit card.
You can access the receipt link from the payment confirmation page or from the page linked in the Regonline confirmation email. Please make sure that events@regonline.com
is white-listed by your spam filter, in order for the confirmation email not to be marked as spam or quarantined.
This is the only payment receipt you will receive. For EU residents this receipt contains all the necessary VAT information.
The conference is organized by IT University of Copenhagen on behalf of ACM SIGSOFT. By registering, you agree that your name, address, email, phone number, type of membership, affiliation, and the registration cost will be passed to ACM with the purpose as detailed in ACM privacy policy (https://www.acm.org/about-acm/privacy-policy) and will not be shared by ACM any further.
